FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The agency

What does a tourism business development agency do?

It helps tourism and culture organisations find new customers and partners: prospecting, representation, visibility and organising professional events.

How is that different from a marketing agency?

We cover the same ground: strategy, campaigns, materials, press relations. For creative work (design, video, websites) we coordinate a network of trusted partners. The difference is the approach: every action is designed to generate leads and contracts. We prospect, make calls, prepare your trade show meetings and negotiate your media buying down to the lowest price.

Which organisations do you work with?

Destinations, tourist boards, museums, cultural venues, travel agencies, publishers and media.

Do you work internationally?

Yes. We represent French organisations abroad and overseas destinations in France.

Our services

What is GEO?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) means making your offer visible in the answers of AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, alongside your Google ranking.

Do you run B2B trade marketing for destinations?

Yes. For tourist boards and destinations we develop B2B trade: prospecting tour operators and agencies, workshops, fam trips and following up on programming.

Do you organise seminars and events?

Yes: B2B workshops, seminars, fam trips, press trips and trade show presence, from invitations to follow-up.

How does the first conversation work?

A free 30-minute diagnostic to understand your situation, followed by a costed proposal, with no commitment.

Pricing

How much does support cost?

By the day, the month or the year, depending on your needs. See our offers →

Do you take the usual 15% agency commission on media buying?

Usually the advertiser pays full price for advertising space and the agency takes a 15% commission under its mandate. At Addeom, we negotiate much bigger discounts, for the benefit of you, the client. The discounts appear in full on your invoices, and our fee is fixed in advance in your contract: a flat fee or a percentage of the savings achieved. Either way, you pay less than the list price.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Not for one-off assignments. For ongoing support, we agree the duration together.

Are travel expenses included?

No, they are re-invoiced at cost, on presentation of receipts.
